new handmade item: toddler bibs

Today I posted a few handmade toddler bibs in my Etsy shop. These are backed with terry towel cloth so they are super absorbent, for the little people working on neatness. Ha! Who am I kidding? It’s for the toddlers, like mine, who are working on their dip painting skills. I’ll be bringing these (unless they sell on Etsy) to the Quesnel Christmas Farmers’ Market this Saturday, November 26 at the Arts and Recreation Centre.

new baby mary jane handmade shoes

I’ve been busy sewing for the Quesnel Farmers’ Markets, including these handmade baby Mary Janes. My 2-year old keeps wanting to try them on but they’re too small for her. (Thinking I might need to make a larger pattern to fit her size 6). I’ll be posting these in my Etsy shop soon. These are approximately 4.25″ long and fit about 6-12 months.

I had previously made these black and white polka dotted baby Mary Janes, which are my favourite. All the shoes are lined with soft white flannel.

eco-friendly reusable birthday bunting

For my daughter’s 2nd birthday, I made this eco-friendly reusable birthday bunting. It’s about 9 feet long, with 36 triangles about 3″ by 4″. It’s reversible also, with similar colours on the opposite side. I sewed loops in the end of the bias tape but in this case, I just clipped it to the wire in our kitchen. I am planning to post a tutorial of how I made it later.
